Know What You Believe
This course seeks to equip students with the basic understanding and tools required to
uphold and defend the faith. The student will examine barriers to Christian faith as well
as efforts to provide convincing presentations of Christian faith. Attention is given to
biblical foundations, historical development and contemporary issues related to
apologetics.
1 Corinthians- Basic Christian Living
When Paul wrote to the Corinthians, he knew they needed to be instructed in the
basics. Today, we also need to be taught the basics of the Christian life. This study on 1
Corinthians will remind us why we go to church, how to use our bodies to honor God,
how to find unity in diversity, how to love, serve, and worship together, and how to face
death.
Homiletics I (Preparing to Speak)
The purpose of this course is to help students with basic foundational skills in preparing
and delivering the Word of God in an effective manner. This will include a relational, and
wholistic approach of the Word of God that should exalt Christ.
Nehemiah – Principles of Leadership
We are all leaders in some aspect of life. It doesn’t matter if you are a leader in your
family, your church, your Bible study, your government, or in your business. If you want
to grow as a leader, then this course is for you. The leadership principles in Nehemiah
are timeless, and the book is full of examples on how students can make a difference in
your family, community, and workplace today
Proverbs
This study details the wisdom teachings of God for daily living with emphasis on major
themes in Proverbs. The student will gain a greater comprehension of the biblical
teaching contained in the Book of Proverbs with an emphasis on practical application.
